Today’s assignment: write and publish a “who I am and why I’m here” post on your blog.
I signed up for Blogging 101 today in the hope of learning how to be a blogger on WordPress.
I fell into a trap of erratic postings of random stuff, usually shared from my other social media sites, so I think it’s high time I knuckle down and learn the nitty gritty world of all about blogging!
I’m a fifty-something wife, mother, daughter, aunt and cousin. Proud of my two kids. Extremely proud of my parents who came to Britain in the 50s not speaking a word of English, and through hard work and graft in the UK owned properties and two businesses.
What am I?
I’m a ‘Jill of all trades, master of none.’ I love to meet new people, exchange life experiences both home and away, and bag a bargain whenever I can…haha.
They say the best things in life are free, and I agree!
Why am I here?
My kids are grown up and Blogging101 is a chance for me to get a hang of the blogging basics by making my way through the assignments day by day. The goal is to produce a body of photography work taken on my travels that I can be really proud of, and sell.
