Plaza de Espana | Seville | Spain

Change your point of view – literally…

Here, I’m sharing the beauty of the Plaza de Espana from a different perspective. I’ve placed the architecture of the Plaza de Espana in the background while focusing on the lines and geometry of the floor tiles in the foreground.

The beautiful path caught my eye and I knew I wanted to empasize this, so I placed my camera (a Nikon d3100 with an 18-55mm kit lens) literally on the ground, concentrating on the symmetry of the tiles, presenting a unique perspective, rather than the everyday eye level viewpoint of this historic landmark.

There is no more perfect symbol of Seville’s layered history than the Giralda Tower (or El Giraldillo) the bell tower of the city’s cathedral.
