Today’s Assignment: publish a post you’d like your ideal audience member to read, and include a new-to-you element in it.
As a fifty-something solo traveller escaping the British weather, I was looking forward to the prospect of exploring Spain. I visited numerous cities trying to live like a local and posted many photos onto my Instagram account – a rapidly growing photography community. It became my friend and kept me going throughout the whole time, whilst visiting many beautiful places namely Antonio Banderas’ Malaga, the capital Madrid, the monumental Alhambra city of Granada, the Mosque city of Cordoba, the cathedral city of Seville, the sherry making city of Jerez and the harbour town of Alicante.
The new-to-me element is one of my pics featured on Instagram…

I loved the architecture, the sceneries, hidden alleyways, history, art treasures, and of course, the beautiful blue skies and hot weather of Seville, well worth visiting!
If you have time, stay connected as my story unfolds…
Great photo, love the reflections.
Thanks Karen! Glad you like it…the square crop was not ideal in my opinion, but it still gained a feature…haha…and I love Reflections…
I often have the same feeling with landscape shots I post on Instagram. I now though tend to post ones that I think work better by using the app squaready so it adds the boarder, leaving the more traditional aspect ratio
I agree, I use the border on some of my images…makes my page look haphazard tho’ ….haha
